Updates: 01/04/22

A new month, a new year, a new list of updates for the Girls Inc. Participant Management System! Thanks for everyone who continues to offer their suggestions on how we can make this app work better for your needs.

As we have now finished onboarding and trainings, our team is focused on;

  • Continuing to fix bugs
  • Addressing any in-scope, outstanding feature requests
  • Continue to provide support for affiliates
  • Adding and updating core questions and dashboards to C360 BI
  • Making every Girls Inc. Affiliate team successful in using the Participant Management app

Ongoing Support

We will be transitioning Affiliate technical support to our email-based Help Desk over the next month. Be on the lookout for an introduction to our Help Team and what to expect when communicating with our Help Desk. Don’t worry, we’re still here to help you and answer any questions your team may have.



  • #18664 Adding ability to control privileges for a user account
  • #18740 Updating various table options including the ability to refresh, better filtering, showing results count
  • #18737 Add a confirmation notification when a parent registers their child from the parent portal
  • #18673 Add a filter to schedule to show only levels that are shown online
    • Items available online are now shown in their own tab to easily identify
  • #18898 Added the ability to not automatically check out girls from the batch check-in option
    • This is useful for batch checking in girls who arrive at your center (e.g. by school bus), but leave at different times
  • #18863 Updated the Constituents table in C360-BI to include unique 10-digit short ID
  • Updated documentation around making programs available online
  • Released the online Volunteer Portal, where volunteers can register, sign-up for opportunities, etc.


  • #18847 Fixed an issue where existing parents were not able to login to the Parent Portal, receiving an “Authentication Error”
  • #18809 Fixed an issue where the Parent Portal was not displaying all programs available online
  • #18896 Fixed an issue where the instructor was not being saved from the class wizard
  • #18856 Fixed a search issue with the checked-in at filter
  • #18850 Fixed a typo on the income categories on the parent registration form
  • #18808 Fixed an issue that prevented showing programs online from the “Show Online” dialog

Scheduled Cases

While we continue through the rest of the month and leading into December, we have a handful of cases scheduled.

  • #18736 Ability to enter and enroll outreach participants in bulk
  • #18685 An issue with deleting tags and displaying the incorrect tag name
  • #18608 Add ability to cancel or refund a payment
  • #18611 Update the process to renew or enroll a participant when adding to a roster directly
  • #18609 Recording discounts and scholarships
  • #18733 Ability to manage center attendance records such as modifying or deleting incorrectly recorded attendance
  • #18694 Disabling credit card payment option if no credit card processor is available
  • #18662 Disabling the option to send a confirmation email when processing a payment
  • #18754 Updating registration form fields for our Canadian affiliates
  • #18748 Updating the check-in dialog to show more relevant information and make the processes more fluid
  • #18610 Add the ability to record an external payment for existing balances due
  • #18891 Ability to display and use CAD as a currency
  • #18747 Ability to display a relationships contact information from their sidebar section
  • #18892 Ability to maintain the same phone number for text messages
  • #18895 Ability to batch checkout participants

This is not the exhaustive list of scheduled cases, as we leave room for things that arise in real time. We also have a handful of new cases that will make it into this list. Check back for the next update announcement for more info.
